Esquire International Financing Inc. (the Corporation) was first established in January 1975, it was engaged in trading as a wholesaler of dry goods. Businesses flourished and branches opened in Tagbilaran and Ormoc City. They are currently operating under the trade names of Sharan’s Trading and Ormoc Friendly Bazaar, respectively.
In 1989, another branch was established based in Hong Kong under the business name SK International, managed by Mr. Nanik B. Uttamchandani. SK International represents the Corporation’s international arm for global transactions. Eskay Travels, Esquire’s affiliate travel agency has also been set up in Hong Kong.
It was late 1991 when Esquire International Credit Resources, Inc. a domestic corporation was organized and established. It is duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission with capital stock of Php 20,000,000.00; P 8,000,000.00 subscribed capital and Php 3,000,000.00 paid up capital stock. Investors and Distributors are distributed 60-40% Filipino-Indian. Its primary purpose is to act as lending investor, with 13 years term of existence.
In 1996, a branch was established in Cebu City named Esquire International Credit Resources., Inc. under the supervision and management of Mr. Hiroo B. Uttamchandani, Vice President & General Manager – Cebu Branch. The presence of this Cebu Branch enhances our presence as a financial service provider in various provinces of Visayas and Mindanao.
The Corporation, formerly Esquire International Credit Resources, Inc. was approved as a financing Company on June 18, 2003 fully licensed under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with an authorized capital stock of Php 11,500,000.00 and paid-up with the same Board of Directors & Stockholders. It is a financing company that offers services to small & medium enterprises, local and international companies.
Just recently, based on consumer surveys and market research, the Corporation had been chosen as the Best Financing Loan Company (National Award) in the National Product Quality Excellence Awards (Seal of Product Quality). The pursuit and achievement of product quality excellence clearly redounds to the best interest of clients. Thus, it has met the standards of product quality excellence deserves the praise and commendation of the consumers and the public in general. Additionally, the company was able to perform remarkably well and succeed in capturing a potential share in the market with its prudent management and determination to be the leader in its type of operations.
The Corporation’s current venture is for social benefit, providing micro financing to small businesses. It was established last June 2006 at Morong Rizal. After a month, branches were opened at different towns in Batangas City namely in Lemery, Nasugbu, Balayan and Cuenca. This was followed by the opening of Alfonso, Silang and Trece branches in Cavite. Help Entrepreneurs Launch Plentitude Foundation (HELP) Inc. is the business name, providing financial help to the poor Filipinos who want to start a small business.
